September 22th 2013 Starting 8-8:30AM
Cherry Tomatoe Route – 10-25 miles
the 10-25mi Cherry Tomato Route is ALL PAVED with 3-4 stops then retturning on same route or via newly redone shoulder on old 218.
Beet-it-Up Route – 60+ miles
43 miles of paved road with 18 miles of gravel. 5-8 stops. For those with road bikes who want to ride Beet-it-Up I suggest getting some Gatorskin or Armadillo tires at your lbs (local bike shop!). They're awesome and will last a very, very long time. Great for unforgiving urban pavement as well, and will help to keep your rims true. Or just bring an extra tube and a dolla bill ya'll.
